USAINS Holding Sdn Bhd, the commercial arm of Penang's Universiti Sains Malaysia, is setting up a biotechnology manufacturing facility as a step forward from being an incubator centre for private sector start-ups.
According to group managing director Datuk Dr Gan Ee Kiang, Usains and USM are weighing several options on the location of the biotechnology park, including within the university or somewhere nearby.
