AFTER months of feasibility tests and pilot projects in East Malaysia, OCBC Bank (M) Bhd has launched a nationwide effort to market its credit cards through Great Eastern Holdings Ltd's insurance arm, Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Bhd (Great Eastern) and another subsidiary, Overseas Assurance Corp (M) Bhd (OAC).
Together, Great Eastern and OAC have an agency force of about 20,000 in Malaysia.
