WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - Rising gasoline prices and housing costs pushed New Zealand's inflation rate higher in the second quarter, but the 2.8 percent annual inflation rate remained constant, official data showed Thursday.
The consumer price index rose 0.9 percent in the three months ended June 30 compared with a rise of 0.4 percent in the first quarter, Statistics New Zealand said in a statement.
