WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - Nearly one in three Air New Zealand international flights will be canceled over six days from July 18 if the majority of the carrier's long haul cabin staff goes on strike as threatened, the company said Thursday.
Between 15 and 20 international flights a day will be canceled due to the strike by 1,000 cabin crew - or about 80 percent of the staff - called after employment contract talks broke down, General Manager International Ed Sims said.
