WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - Business confidence declined sharply in New Zealand in the quarter that ended June 30, hitting its lowest level for more than two years, a new survey reported Tuesday.
Businesses that expected general conditions to deteriorate over the next six months outnumbered those that expected an improvement by a net rate of 34 percent, according to the Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion.
