SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Australia's central bank on Wednesday left the country's benchmark interest rate unchanged at 5.5 percent.
The decision was widely expected by financial markets as recent economic data had pointed to moderating economic growth, easing inflationary pressures and a cooling off in the building sector.
