MALAYSIAN companies that adopt supply chain finance can achieve cost savings of about 15% to 30% on their working capital, said Standard Chartered Bank head of sales, trade, supply chain and wholesale bank, Ken Stratton.
Stratton said rising competition and higher financing costs and risks had led many banks, including Standard Chartered Bank, to adopt more efficient ways of trade financing.
