MALAYSIA'S trade continued its uptrend in April, with exports increasing by 9.4% to RM43.4bil and imports up by 4.7% to RM35.13bil from the same month last year.
Similarly, trade surplus was higher by 35.3% to RM8.27bil compared with April last year, which was the 90th consecutive month of trade surplus recorded since November 1997, the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) said in a statement yesterday.
