SINGAPORE (AP) - Singapore said Friday it has concluded a "trans-Pacific'' trade pact with Chile, New Zealand and Brunei that will effectively eliminate tariffs on most goods traded between the countries when it is enforced in 2006.
"The trans-Pacific strategic economic partnership will bring strategic benefits to all four partners, in effect building a bridge between Latin America, the Pacific and Asia,'' a statement from the Ministry of Trade and Industry read.
