HONG KONG: China Shenhua Energy Co, marketing the world's biggest initial public offering this year to date, forecasts its net income in 2005 will rise 58% to 14.1 billion yuan (US$1.82bil), according to its sale document.
The company, which plans to raise as much as US$3.6bil in the sale, had 8.9 billion yuan of profit last year after producing 101.3 million tonnes of coal, making it the largest coal producer in China, the document showed.
