LONDON (AP) - European shares ended higher Thursday, as investors took heart from a raft of largely upbeat profit updates from U.K. companies.
Continental benchmarks notched a second day of gains, as the German DAX 30 ended up 0.8 percent to 4,358, while the French CAC-40 index gained 0.3 percent to 4,085.
