SOME major changes can be expected at Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd as its new managing director Datuk Noorazman A. Aziz maps out a strategy to re-position the country’s oldest Islamic bank as a global player over a five-year period.

The restructuring would include the way the bank conducts its business activities, a new image for its banking halls, more innovative product offerings, an aggressive move to tap regional and global markets, and some changes to its management team, banking sources said.
