Museum with health in mind

BRAND'S has become part and parcel of the Taiwanese food and health supplement culture so much so that a health museum is dedicated to it. Located in the Chang Bin Industrial area, Taichung, it is the biggest health museum in Asia and Taiwan's first health museum.

Members of the media on a tour of the Brand's facility in Taiwan recently were given an insight into the museum, which was built in 1999 and refurbished in 2003. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by the world's largest essence of chicken bottle, which was built with 5,000,000 bottles of Brand's.

The museum, which uses interactive technology, fun models and multimedia to help the general public understand the concept of health, is an interesting place to visit.

It is divided into seven areas that display, among others, an account of Brand's history and information on the body and how to improve health.

Since it was opened in 2003, there have been about 30,000 visitors to the museum.
