Malaysia ranks 8th in economic performance: Survey

SINGAPORE: Malaysia moved to the 8th position this year from 16th last year in terms of domestic economic performance, said a survey. 

The World Competitiveness Yearbook 2005 said of the 60 economies surveyed by the Swiss-based business training centre, IMD, Thailand was a rung above Malaysia while France occupied the 9th position and the Netherlands in 10th.
