CPO may move down this week

CRUDE palm oil (CPO) futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives trended lower for most of the sessions last week after a failed rally attempt in the early part of the week encouraged bullish players to take profit ahead of the long weekend Labour Day holidays.

Earlier in the week, Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) estimated that Malaysia's palm oil export for the first 25 days of April at 898,925 tonnes was slightly off from the comparable period in March. Export estimates for April will be released tomorrow.
