BCB raises loan target this year


BUMIPUTRA-Commerce Bank Bhd (BCB), which disbursed RM45bil in loans last year, targets to increase the amount by 9% this year. 

And business loans were projected to increase by about 14% against 12% in 2004, senior vice-president P. Manoharan said at a media briefing on the Fast Track PRO-Finance in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. The new loan package is targeted at professional small-medium enterprises (SMEs) such as doctors, dentists, veterinarians and accountants.
