Mycron aims to reinforce position with RM120m plan

MAIN board-listed Mycron Steel Bhd is confident of strengthening its position in the niche cold rolled coils (CRC) business in Malaysia through its RM120mil aggressive expansion plan slated for completion by the second quarter of 2007.

Unperturbed by the latest challenge from a new local competitor, chief executive officer Azlan Abdullah said: “To stay competitive and remain ahead of our competitors, Mycron has mapped out a well strategised plan to fully tap into the higher-end market segment.”
