COASTAL vessels transporting dry cargo between major towns in Sarawak will impose a 15% surcharge from today to offset the escalating diesel fuel costs.
Also to introduce the surcharge are hundreds of other ships and barges which transport timber products like plywood and sawn timber, cement, sand, stones and building materials.
