SYARIKAT Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), a 70%-owned subsidiary of Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd
, is confident it can slash non-revenue water (NRW) to 35% by year-end from 40% currently, executive chairman Tan Sri Rozali Ismail said.
NRW refers to water loss, which is usually attributed to leakage from old pipes, but there are other causes such as theft.
