First tenders for North-South Expressway works in Q2

At a time when construction and infrastructure jobs are hard to come by, PLUS Expressways Bhd has finally received the nod from the Government to begin upgrading works on 848km of the North-South Expressway (NSE) at a cost of RM1.042bil. 

But PLUS is not the only beneficiary of the exercise. Many companies within the United Engineers (M) Bhd group such as UEM Builders Bhd, UEM Construction, Kinta Kellas plc and even Projek Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya Bhd will also gain in terms of contracts for various portions of the upgrading work.
