BANGKOK: Penang-based Syarikat Pertanian Mesra Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding with Burapa Chai Chan Company Ltd, a Thai rice company, to further develop new technologies in padi processing.
Pertanian Mesra chief executive officer Abdul Razak Taha said the MoU entailed the setting up of a joint-venture company based in Thailand to further explore processing of padi using Burapa's technology and expertise.
