SMALL- and medium-sized engineering workshops in the country should look into developing value-added machines for export to Third World countries.
Penang State Foundry and Engineering Industries Association chairman Koay Chiew Guan told a press conference yesterday that these workshops could develop and equip machines used in the tooling, agriculture, and food industries with computer numeric control system and software programmes.
