Bursa Malaysia Bhd has posted a RM35mil net profit after tax for its financial year ended Dec 31, 2004, 41% lower than the net profit of RM60mil recorded in 2003.

The drop in net profit was largely due to the voluntary separation scheme (VSS) cost incurred, chief financial officer Khairussaleh Ramli said in a statement yesterday.
