MITSUI Sumitomo Insurance (M) Bhd, which hopes to complete its merger with Aviva Insurance Bhd this year, is targeting a gross written premium of RM340mil by the year-end from RM315mil last year, owing to strong business operations.
Chief executive officer Fabian Wong said the increase in gross premium would mainly be driven by fire insurance, apart from marine cargo business.
