MALAYSIAN furniture makers, take heed. If feedback from foreign visitors is anything to go by, then they have a lot of work to do to counter the growing competition. 

Foreign visitors to the Malaysian Furniture Fair (MIFF) 2005 which opened in Kuala Lumpur yesterday have expressed the need for local furniture players to improve on product development and product design vis-a-vis competition from around the region.
