LONDON: The revolt by shareholders of Deutsche Boerse who oppose its £1.3bilbid to buy the London Stock Exchange (LSE) has taken a new twist with veteran banker Lord Jacob Rothschild being touted as a possible successor to Boerse chairman Rolf Breuer.
Britain’s Sunday Times reported that The Children’s Investment Fund (TCI) and other rebel shareholders would seek to install Lord Jacob as chairman of a new Deutsche Boerse supervisory board.
