MTB: Assembly ops for DaimlerChrysler to bring in RM32m

DRB-Hicom Bhd’s subsidiary Malaysia Truck and Bus Sdn Bhd (MTB) expects its assembly operations for DaimlerChrysler Malaysia Sdn Bhd (DCM) to rake in revenue of RM32mil in the first year. 

DRB-HICOM group chairman Tan Sri Saleh Sulong said the income was based on MTB’s forecast of assembling 1,800 units of the E-Class Mercedes, 1,800 units of the C-Class and 600 units the S-Class models annually.
