Awards for top funds to be presented on March 29

THE Star/Standard & Poor’s Investment Funds Award Malaysia 2005 will be held for the third consecutive year on March 29 in Kuala Lumpur. The event that gauges and ranks fund managers’ performance has become a high point in Malaysia’s unit trust industry.

Since it was introduced three years ago, the investment funds award had become widely regarded as the industry standard for the growing investment fund industry in Malaysia, Standard & Poor’s managing director and head of Asia, Surinder Kathpalia, said in a statement yesterday.
