Ta Ann gets additional 197,250ha in Sarawak

Ta Ann Plywood Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ta Ann Holdings Bhd, has been granted an additional area of 197,250ha by the Sarawak government to undertake a tree planting programme under its existing licence for planted forest. 

According to an announcement by Bursa Malaysia, the additional volume will boost the timber reserves of the group from the current volume of about eight million cu m to 12 million. The Group's combined reforestation area will also increase to 300,131ha.
