DRB-HICOM deal likely to be inked soon


THE sale of a 15.8% stake comprising 155.43 million shares in DRB-HICOM to Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary's private vehicle, Etika Strategi Sdn Bhd, is expected to be formalised at an agreement signing in the next couple of days. 

DRB-HICOM chairman Tan Sri Mohd Saleh Sulong said the company received a letter from Bank Negara last Friday stating that the draft agreement between the parties had been approved by the Finance Minister.
