LionFIB share price falls on tyre takeover news

THE share price of pulp and paper producer Lion Forest Industries Bhd (LionFIB) was marked down from the opening bell yesterday following the announcement on Monday that it would pay RM225mil for tyre maker Silverstone Bhd.  

LionFIB tumbled 27 sen to RM2.29 on volume of 1.2 million shares as some shareholders showed their displeasure by selling out.
