SINGAPORE (AP)- Crude futures fell Monday as traders reacted with relief to the democratic vote in Iraq, which drew large numbers to the polls despite a campaign of violence by insurgents.
OPEC's decision to leave production output unchanged, rather than institute further cuts, also contributed to the price fall.
