ASEAN Bintulu Fertilizer Sdn Bhd (ABF), a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), has agreed to set up a joint-venture melamine production facility in Bintulu, Sarawak, with South Korean Namhae Chemical Corp (NCC).
ABF said in a statement yesterday the facility, Malaysias first, would have an annual production capacity of 15,000 tonnes.
