SHARES of Malaysia International Shipping Corp Bhd (MISC) hit a record high yesterday, driven by their cheap valuations and expectations of firmer freight rates.
The stock rose over 2.6% to RM15.70 while the broader market gained 0.26%. Dealers said the buying interest was mainly from foreign investors. Shares of MISC, the world's largest carrier of liquefied natural gas (LNG), have gained almost 21% over the last three months, outperforming the market's 9% rise.
