Buck up, bumi AP holders told

BUMIPUTRA companies with approved permits (APs) to import cars were warned yesterday that their days could be numbered if they did not buck up and play their part in the motor industry effectively. 

The warning was sounded by International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz, who said the AP system, which had been in operations since the 1970s, might no longer be relevant in the future.
