THE long-forgotten blue chip Sime Darby Bhd is shining again on Bursa Malaysia as more and more investors believe that the new management will be able to cultivate the group's resources to generate better growth.
Its share price rose 30 sen or nearly 5% higher to RM6.50 – the highest level since September 1997 – on volume of 8.03 million shares yesterday. This followed renewed interest in the conglomerate lately.
