TASHKENT: Uzbekistan wants to set up joint ventures with Malaysian companies in the textiles industry and in fruit processing.
Its Deputy Foreign Minister Ilham Nematov said there were already 18 joint ventures in various sectors between businessmen of both countries, as Malaysians had begun to “discover” the vast potential of the resource-rich central Asian country, he said.
