HONG KONG: Swiss bank UBS led all firms in 2004 Asian investment banking revenue, bolstered by its strength in Australia, according to preliminary data from Dealogic.
UBS, earning US$304mil, followed by Goldman Sachs (US$226mil), Morgan Stanley (US$215mil) and Deutsche Bank (US$214mil) were this year's top revenue winners in the Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan, as the region's deal-making fees rose sharply, Dealogic said.
