JAL to buy 30 7E7s with option for 20 more


TOKYO: Japan Airlines Corp. (JAL), Asia's biggest airline, said yesterday it will buy 30 Boeing Co. 7E7 Dreamliners and will take an option to buy an additional 20. 

The contract will be signed next spring and the new planes will be introduced from around the year starting in April 2008 to replace JAL's 36 Boeing 767 jets and 22 Airbus A300600s.
