Tan Chong's Kangoo to hit Asean roads

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd will take advantage of the favourable motor vehicle tariff regime under the Asean Free Trade Area and export the locally assembled Renault Kangoo passenger car cum light commercial vehicle to several Asean countries. 

Vice-chairman Ahmad Abdullah said the Tan Chong group planned to assemble 2,000 Kangoo cars next year and increase annual production to 3,000 units in 2006.
