SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines Ltd, Asia's most profitable carrier, flew 11% more passengers and carried 10% more cargo in November from a year earlier because it raised capacity in anticipation of more travel demand.
The airline carried 1.38 million passengers last month, versus 1.25 million a year earlier, SIA said in a statement. It filled 75.4% of seats with paying passengers, slightly more than last year's 75.3%. The airline filled 68.7% of overall passenger and cargo space last month, down from 69.8% a year earlier.
