Singapore: Budget carrier Tiger Airways is buying eight new aircraft from European manufacturer Airbus to keep its expansion plans on track, a news report said yesterday.
The airline, co-owned by Singapore Airlines, has signed a letter of intent with Airbus for the single-aisle A320 jets to be delivered next year and in 2006, sources told Singapore's The Straits Times.
