EON Bank, Uni.Asia offer e-cover notes


EON Bank group (EBG) together with Uni.Asia General Insurance Bhd (UAG) has introduced the issuance of electronic motor insurance cover notes or e-cover notes at all its branches, using an electronic system, which is linked directly to the Road Transport Department (RTD) for the renewal or purchase of road tax. 

Group retail banking deputy chief executive officer Albert Lau Yiong said in a statement the service was available to all EBG customers renewing or purchasing their road tax after renewing or purchasing insurance cover, underwritten by UAG, for their motor vehicles.
