PETROLIAM Nasional Bhd (Petronas) yesterday reported a new offshore gas discovery, potentially boosting supplies for Malaysia's huge liquefied natural gas (LNG) complex in Sarawak.
The company said that it had discovered the new field off Sarawak, which is home to the world's single largest LNG facility of its kind, but more activities were needed to gauge its size.
