Bina Goodyear expects higher revenue

BINA Goodyear Bhd expects 5% to 10% growth in revenue in its current financial year to June 30 on the back of an improving order book, said senior general manager Lawrence Lau.

In the year just ended, the company recorded revenue of RM227.9mil.

Over the past six months, Bina Goodyear had secured more than RM430mil worth of contracts and a healthy order book of RM660mil, he said after the company's AGM in Petaling Jaya yesterday.

Lau said the group also aimed at securing RM80mil to RM100mil of contracts, mainly construction jobs, by the end of its financial year.

To-date, its major projects include the RM75mil Putrajaya syariah court and a RM130mil condominium project in Damansara Perdana. – Bernama
