LIFE insurance agents should be trained to think that there is value attached to their jobs helping one to take precaution rather than seeing it as a way to make a fast buck, a consultant and trainer in the financial services industry said.
Independent trainer and consultant Tung Siak Leng, who is also a speaker at the forthcoming Eighth Asia Pacific Life Insurance Congress (Aplic) to be held in Malaysia, said there was an urgent need to change the mindset of life insurance agents and make them realise that their job like any other had an intrinsic value.
