SEOUL: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, the worlds largest maker of memory chips, said yesterday it will invest 25 trillion won (US$24bil) in its semiconductor business by 2010.
Hwang Chang-gyu, president of the South Korean firms chip business, also forecast in a press statement that semiconductor sales would surge 60% this year to a record high.
