SEOUL/SINGAPORE: A bright earnings outlook helped by the South Korean won's rally has turned the long-stagnant stock of giant Korea Electric Power Corp. into a star among Asian electricity shares this year.
Some analysts forecast further share gains for the country's third-biggest stock (KEPCO) in 2005, although any significant rise may depend on the government approving a long-awaited rate increase.
