THE sharp fall in crude oil prices in New York cleared the way for further recovery by airline stocks, which have rebounded substantially from the year's lows.
On Bursa Malaysia, AirAsia Bhd was the most actively traded counter yesterday. The share price of the no-frills airline, which was listed two weeks ago, rose to a new high of RM1.64, up 14 sen or 9.3%, on a volume of 34.97 million shares.
