KUB Malaysia Bhd is looking at ways to dispose of non-profitable units and will make fresh proposals to the board of directors soon for new business ventures as part of its efforts to return to the black.

Managing director and chief executive Izham Yusoff said besides the core “bread and butter” divisions of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and information and communications technology (ICT) as well as plantation activities, the initial idea was to sell off businesses that had continued to be in the red and at the same time suggest new businesses that would have greater profit potential.
